Using a hands-on approach that allows for integration of proper positioning, fostering movement and facilitating life skills and greater success in students’ academic pursuits.
Serving bright students, grades 4 through 12th, who may have a learning difficulty or ADHD and students who thrive in a small, safe, and individualized setting. Providing students with a learning environment that facilitates the development of self-confidence, motivation, and academic skills and gives students the opportunity to achieve success.
Focus Academy’s special needs education program for students ages 14-22 is structured with dual purposes: academic achievement and social success. We offer differentiated, individualized instruction, but emphasize a full high school experience including creative arts, physical education and state of the art technology. Our post-high school Transition Program moves students into the community to continue building independence, self-esteem, and workplace competence.
