Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is a non-profit, community-based institution. We are dedicated to advancing public understanding of science, industry and technology.


MOSI exists for one core reason: To make a difference in people’s lives by making science real for people of all ages and backgrounds.

We have inspired the 15 million guests who have visited our science center, but our reach goes so much farther.

With the help of our Members, donors, and partners, MOSI provides scholarships for kids from low-income families to go to Science Camp; gives free training to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) educators across Tampa Bay; sends our mobile science lab around the state of Florida to educate and inspire; and much more.

Making the Holidays Less Stressful by MOSI Many children with disabilities such as Autism and other related sensory processing disorders, experience holidays differently. They can be overstimulated with large numbers of people, overwhelmed with decorations and commotion, and experience fight or flight moments.
