Job Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of ABA services in various settings such as the client’s home, school, community or in the clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties

Utilizing the training obtained to receive certification as an RBT, implement the prescribed therapy designed by the supervising BCBA. Responsible for recording and collecting data on the progress and abilities of the child. RBTs are supervised/trained weekly by a BCBA and must be ready to provide feedback to the on current progress and implement programs and recommendations given by the BCBA.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification
  • Medicaid credentials strongly preferred.
  • CPR Certification
  • Minimum education – High School Diploma
  • 3+ years experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum preferred.
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Experience using practice management software, Microsoft office or G-suite.
